A few people have asked how I have done the league table for division 4 that is in the first post.
It is just an image - use any spreadsheet programme (even Google online spreadsheets which are free and very good) to create the table, then "print screen" to save it as a still - most PCs have a button to do this - on Mac OS X, it is apple-shift-3, or better still apple-shift-4 which then allows you to drag out an area so that the image is cropped from the start. You then need to save it as a jpg (with a fair bit of compression to save everyone's bandwidth).
You then upload the image to a web server somewhere - I am lucky to have a number of websites that I can piggybank from. If you don't have access to a server like this, then you can use a service like
www.photobucket.com.
Then ask for the image to be imbedded in the first post - which is just the complete URL for the image surrounded by the images tags: [ i m g ] and [ / i m g ] - without the spaces.
You can then just repeat the process to update the still, and if you replace the online version so that it has the same name and location, then the post here will be updated automatically. This is easy for me to do, but I'm not sure how easy it is to update an image on photobucket or similar.
Hope this helps,
Ben
