Conquer Club Reanimation of the Football World Cup 2010



Welcome to the Football World Cup 2010 tournament.
This is a huge 128-player Quadruple tournament.
Premium membership is required.

Setup - Gameplay - Points

The 32 will be divided into 8 groups of 4. From Group A to H

First each team will play a match against all in their group once. Each match consists of 4 games. Each game is like a goal in Football. (Special thanks to krissan for giving me the idea)
The top 2 teams in each group will advance to the playoffs.

Points:

3 Points for a win.
1 point for a tie.
0 points for a loss.

Incase of a tie. Then the total goals will be counted first. Second, internal wins (aka, who of the two teams won when they played) and third, a tiebreaker of 1 game will be played (Overtime).

The playoffs:

The two teams will play one match against eachother. One match again being 4 games. This will go on until we have a winner.

To see who plays who in the playoffs, simply look at the bracket in the bottom of this post.

Incase of a tie. Then the match goes into overtime and a 5th game will be played. The winner advances.

Seeding

The groups will not be the same as the the real World Cup. Instead the average win% in quads for each team will be used to create the seeding. You don't have to post your Win% when you sign up for the tournament.

The number one seed will then be in group A. The second in group H, third in D, fourth in E and so fourth. Just like any other system like it.

Map and Settings

The 2010 World Cup is held in South Africa. The map for this tournament will thereby be Africa throughout the whole tournament.

How to join the tournament:

Signing up

Any players with premium can join this tournament. I prefer that you sign up as a complete team. But i will keep track of players without a team and try to put them together if possible.

Simply reply to this thread with your team and also pick a nationality to play for.

Thats it, then you are in.

For each match, you will recive the games to join through a PM from me. You simply join and play your best to win.
