Comments: in Q&A a person brought this guy to my attention. it seems like he is making his turn using a script to begin his turn ASAP and then making it within an hour.
you might think that he is just having a weight on the B key well i dont think so, he begins it at the same second every time i dont think that is possible every time, some of the fastest people on the sight can do that. may be nothing but it looks suspicious so just bringing it to the mods attention.

Don't waste your time. I reported someone who did this once, and the response I got was basically, "it's too hard to prove, so we don't really care". If you can't beat 'em, join 'em. Or just don't play freestyle.

If true that would be quite sad, though it does just go to show freestyle continues to be the Mos Isley cantina of planet CC.

Mos isley antina??? no idea, comrade but agree with the gen gist that Freestyle attracts more than it's share of players in it to show their smarts rather than play the game...sux for mine +1
i often wonder how a game im waiting for is blinking and when it turns to let me move the games over i never get to move is this what is being said here that thier is a script to move before others?..i mean im bad at the game anyways but this ,if true just makes it worse lol

From my knowledge, a script to auto start your turn without you being there is against the rules. I could be wrong though.
And scripts can be against the rules, having a script to take your turn for you is against the rules.
I do not think so. The rules are very clear. You can not have multiple accounts (so you can not play with accounts except yours or maybe take a couple of friends rounds so he will not lose his turn etc) But there is nothing about use scripts or anything. You can put a computer play all the games for you if you want.
If you want to forbid that you should write it clearly at the rules.

I think he do press down the b. With a good connection you can start at the same second. In addition in one time he started the next second.
Well, freestyle in 1vc1 not speed games is funny. You have to wait for the other to go to sleep.

So you are saying this guy sat at his computer for an hour and a half, waiting for a turn in Freestyle to start, have it start, then wait 53 minutes before taking his turn? Why wouldn't he start doing his turn instantly?
And I really don't like the idea of versing a computer.

I would suggest not continuing to work on it because it creates a big disadvantage for the casual gamer (the kind of person this site is geared toward). I am personally pretty impressed with the power of your script and your intuition to see the need and how to make it work, but unfortunately it is not something that can be used on CC.
Based on your original question, I think you were checking if this type of script would be allowed, so I'm sorry to say that it isn't.
Game 1675072 2018-08-09 16:02:06 - Mageplunka69: its jamaica map and TFO that keep me on this site
LMAO! Simple concept on what he does; puts a weight on the "B" button so that he starts at the exact time his opponent starts in the event he was last to finish or end. This will give him his full drop of armies, which wouldnt have been the case if his bonus was attacked. The downfall is that he has an hour to make his turn or he loses his armies. LOL - no script whatsoever or computer turn taker, LOL! Cmon people, really?
obvious to me that he was just holding down the B button... his opponent was trying to use delay tactics and it didnt work... quit crying and play like a man...

NO of course.
I am saying that he hold down the b (by putting a weight or something) and leave (washing his clothes for example) and simply check his computer every 55 min.
If people did not want to play with freestyle 's 1vc1 (not speed) tricks you can play sequential 1vc1. It is pretty much the same without the tricks. But if you want to play with the tricks and your opponent do not use them, then you can not...
Well, make a computer be able to play would be very interesting. If I was an admin I would give premium to that player, give to the computer a profile and watch if it can beat good players. But I do not think it is easy to make a computer play good at such a complicated game.
A post in the forum can not be a rule. All the players should be able to read the rules in the rules tub. If you want to forbid some scripts you should write it here. (for example in a paragraph called advanced rules where you will put all these complicated rules which a brand new player do not need to know)

Especially when the person who posted it is no longer a staff member, and it just looks like a random person wrote it.
If they add it to the rules, they have to enforce it. It's a tricky situation to handle, seeing as it's near impossible to prove someone's using a script. I imagine that's why you don't see it in the rules.

A lot of things is impossible to prove. For example multies (you have just to change your IP and you can prove nothing) two friends make secret diplomacy etc. Some players will cheat, but some others not. Personal I will not cheat but I will use a useful script if it not in the rules...
1) I've done like this: In a game in the Poland WWII map all I needed was to start my turn as soon as the other player did (1vs1) to get the bonuses.. so I left the B key pressed with a q-tip stick, i cut it in half and put it under the G and the space bar to keep the b held.
2)I was looking to make some changes to the source code of the clickable maps script, and I came to a place where the code implied that if you pressed the B key once before your turn, it will automatically start your turn when the it was time to, and once. That actually happened to me in a game, I pressed the B to try to start before the other guy, but then got tired of keeping the B key pressed and nevertheless, as soon as the other player started the scrip started my turn automatically, it happened like 3 times in that game, I actually complained about it in the game chat, can't remember which game tho. That makes me think that such a feature it's coded in the clickabale maps script, and works sometimes only.

not everyone can use that tho. so the second part is illegal lol

Having a script that start turns for you is not something that will be allowed or encouraged. You are nearing the boundaries when a machine or a program would play the game for you. What's next, a script that would end the turn for you? Do not forget that this is a gaming website for people, not for bots or programs. If you want a bot to help you win games, this is the wrong website for you.
As for the possibility that Twin Killer is using a script like this, we would need more than just one game to further support this allegation. This is noted for future reference.
