Arms Race Race [Winner:General Bax]

Post by DD2 »

Concept:

All the players will be entered into a pool. Each player will be randomly paired up with an even number of players from the pool (which will depend on how many sign up in order to keep it even). So if 20 players sign up, each could be paired with 10 other players for a total of 10 games each.

Goal:
Be the player who wins with the least number of turns played.

If there is a tie then those players tied will have a tie breaker.
If 2 players then a 1v1 game.
If 3 or more then a round robin pairing, with those with the most wins move on.

Number of players: 2
Map: Arms Race
Game Type: Standard
Settings: Automatic, Sequential, Escalating, Chained, Fog

Player list:
show

Winner: General Bax

I'm not sure I understand, but I'm in. IF you play 10 games, only win 1, but somehow u manage to win that game in say 6 rounds. you'd win?

Yep. All players will have the same number of games (again based upon player sign up and player pool). He/She with the least number of turns on a win, will win the entire tournament. Be quick....

So you can win all your games and someone could win one and they win the tourney--just about winning fast--wow--not sure I like it but I will try

Figured it would be a new twist and require a different strategy... Don't think I will repeat the tournament concept anytime soon
