Small but noticeable. This doesn't necessarily mean that the players have to pick up on it but it's probably better from a fun game stand point but it at least means that it's not going to easily escape your attention. Try not to make them role breaking, I experimented once with a fairly strong PR once myself admittedly but I didn't end up enforcing it. I usually tend to try to find one that fits the role's character without absolutely giving the role away. Ellen Ripley was afraid of robots, Travis Bickle was obsessed with how crime in the city was making it dirty and he wanted to clean up and if I had included it, Dances with Wolves would have written his posts as if he was writing in a journal.

got tonkaed used to run mafia games where everyone had really insane PR's. It was an Insane Asylum setting. I remember nag had to post Bangladeshi Cricket Scores or something.
Less crazy or obvious ones have been like: a catchphrase, posting in red text, being forced to include a certain word in every post, etc.
BGtheBrain wrote:In our latest clan game the mods invented a "Panic Attack" they use random.org and assign a player to have a panic attack. That player then has to type in all caps, red font, max of 2 sentences, and say shit like "ARGGGHHHHH" "GRRRRRRRR" or "MOMMY!" and sprinkle in some cuss words.
After a couple of these, the panic attack is over and the player posts like normal.
The theme is on a spaceship, where the crew is potentially infected. Just wanted to say WHY there's panic attacks haha, so it's not a "you had to be there for it to be funny" moment.

Post Restrictions are a "gimmick". A lot of gimmicks win people over but then end up not being very fun.

The Navi fake claim PR was all you wasnt it? That was brilliant
We got that suggestion from the mod with the fakeclaims we were given.

I like them. In fact I like them so much that I used several in the beginning of the membase mafia.
