[Official Usergroup] - Foundry Process Reorganization

Post by thenobodies80 »

The Foundry Process Reorganization will be an Official Usergroup in which mapamkers can discuss and collaborate to have a better Foundry!

The main task of this usergroup is to work together to change and refine the current mapmaking process to fit the mapmakers needs and desires.

There are few requirements for being part of this usergroup:
  • Have at least 1 map quenched or in the Beta stage
  • Not be under any current ban of any type(temporary or permanent)

If you're insterested in giving your help to create a better foundry, a foundry that listen to the their users voice, please send a PM to [player]thenobodies80[/player] or post in this thread.
I'll add you to the usergroup as soon as I've checked that the few requirements listed above are satisfied.

OK, i'll start this off, by asking where anyone is up to with regard to map size policy?
I beleive this needs to be sorted out quickly so existing and new mapmakers understand what is required.

You should have access to the usergroup --> viewforum.php?f=665

Added the link to the OP as well.

Thanks, I see that now. I was looking for a new entry under Usergroups and forgot about the Temp. Projects area.

Am I qualified?

Also, why is this thread here instead of where all of the other usergroup sign up threads is located?

Because it's an ad-hoc project and not a social usergroup ;)

the good news is i can access the forum.
the bad news is i can only do it if i click this link: viewforum.php?f=665

i can't see it anywhere when i look at the index. it simply does not appear.

So, at the top of the page when you get there, what do you see?
I see:

Board index ‹ TeamCC Forums ‹ Temp. Projects ‹ [Official] Foundry Process Reorganization

and any part of that can be clicked to take me to the corresponding forum.

Note: although this is being called a usergroup, it does not appear in the Usergroups section of the Board Index page.

i see: Board index ‹ TeamCC Forums ‹ [Official] Foundry Process Reorganization
Image

and it gets funnier.
if i click on board index i see TeamCC Forums but it does not include the [Official] Foundry Process Reorganization.
if i go one step further and click on TeamCC Forums i can see the staff forums but not the [Official] Foundry Process Reorganization.
even if i try to use the "jump to" function i can't because i can't find the [Official] Foundry Process Reorganization in the drop down menu.
so basically the only way for me to visit is to come to this thread and find the link and click it. or bookmark the link.

I guess somehow you have access to the topic but not the Temp. Projects forum. Maybe AndyDufresne can sort this out. I will PM him with this post.
