It takes 20 minutes to cook a decent meal (if you're fast like me), why would you eat cardboard?

And why do you consider Cereal to be a meal? Seriously? It's empty carbs + Sugar. Milk protein isn't even needed as an adult. Oh, and I've tasted the shit you get as milk in the US and Canada, that's ultra diluted, I bet there's no protein left. But probably added sugar, cause you guys can't have lactose because you're so full of alergens in your bodies that you can't have anything! Yes, your live in dust! WTF is with you and your cardboard houses? The fucking wolf will come and blow it away! And you have carpets everywhere!! wtf? It's dust more dust! You think you can pass a vacuum cleaner and that's it? GET SOME REAL FLOORS!!

The average diet of an American:

7:30AM --- Cereal + diluted milk + sugar

8Am -- Nescafe instant coffee, with coffee mate (bunch of artificial solvents first used in the 18th century to as a biological weapon)

9AM --- Twix bar + Juice (artificial orange flavor + sugar + solvents as preservers)

10AM -- Benadryl

12:30 PM -- BigMac, meal, supersize

2PM -- more instant coffee

4PM -- Claritin

5PM - A big bag of Cheetos, and when I say big i mean BIG.

7PM -- KFC family pack!

8PM -- some Allegra

12AM -- **wakes up craving a Six Dollar Guacamole Bacon Onion Rings Double Size Burger, meal, big fries. No coke though, that shit could be bad at this hour, I'll have a Sprite instead** "yaaay for drive thrus!!"

My son is almost 5 years old. He has no idea what McDonals, Burger King, ect is. He has never been there or eaten there. We don't plan to take him ever. I grew up on the junk. Most nights my wife cooks homemade. She uses basic ingredients and starts from scratch as best she can. She makes her own sauces, ect. We have even considered moving to the country so we can raise are own animals for food.

I agree with you though that most Americans eat junk. Fast food, the crap processed shit they sell at the supermarkets but I think a movement is starting, and more are starting to eat better.

I see more with their own vegetable gardens. I see more selections at the grocery store for healthier foods. My grass fed meat supplier's business is exploding in growth, stores that sell less processed food are opening in my metro, and our farmers market is increasing in size. Some local municipalities are now allowing people to have chickens on their properties.

Just last year, a guy in the high rent area tried to get the city to outlaw vegetable gardens in front yards (his neighbor planted one in the front yard because his backyard is shaded). Anyway, the guy was shamed and laughed out of the city council meeting.

Still a long ways to go, but things are improving here in the USA.

What really shocked me in america is to see how drinking plain water isn t in the culture anymore. The amount of soda you drink is ridiculous... I think that is way worse than what you eat.

About this... i heard that in some areas of mexico it s cheaper to buy coke rather than water and the locals With less revenues can t afford water. That is a real health issue!

Agree on this completely! It is a bunch of bull shit. My wife grew up in the suburbs, I grew up in the country....so we own a house in surburbia

Our city is not as bad as others but I am still blown away by the bullshit I deal with from the city and neighbors.

I don't spray poisons on my lawn...I had a neighbor that finally moved that threatened me for years that he would come spray my dandelions to kill them

I don't waste water on my yard

I have a native prairie in my backyard...small one, about 1000 square feet. Every year about the 4th of July, it grows high enough that it violates the city ordinance for "weeds". So now I weed whip the prairie the last week of June every year to not have to deal with the city.

I have work trucks and trailers. Some times I work late and bring one home for the night...so it is in the street from 8-9pm until 6 am. If I do this, 50% of the time I get a letter a few days later from the city telling me I can't park a commercial vehicle in my subdivision.

Mulch...it takes about 30 yards of mulch for me to cover my landscape beds. I deliver it in bulk. Then I spread mulch an hour or so each night for a week and a half to finish. Every year I do this I get a letter stating I can not store landscape materials on my driveway. And every year I have to call the city and tell them nicely to mind their own business(which they respond that they are).

There is more. I look forward to the day I only have to deal with the county when I get out of the suburbs...

I've never made it myself, I've seen how though. It's rice and water in a blender, then let them sit for a while, then strain it, then they add a little milk, sugar, vanilla extract and that's it. I think. I bet there are recipes online for the exact amounts.

Ingredients
Glases: 6

1 cup of white rice
5 cups of water
1/2 cup of milk
1/2 tablespoon vainilla
1/2 tablespoon ground cinnamon
2/3 cup sugar (some lady in the comments said it was good but a little too sweet so you might want to adjust)


instructions
Time:10min


Water and rice in a blender for approx 1 min. Leave the mix in room temp. for at least 3 hours. Strain and discard the rice. Add milk, vanilla, cinnamon and sugar. Mix it well. Refrigerate it and it's done.

did you really? Lol. Some guys still make their wives make the tortillas, because the taste is much different. Specially at night, they don't like re-heated tortillas from the afternoon. I remember that some 20 years ago it was much more common.

My mom would made them occasionally at night if we were about to eat something that needed tortillas to taste well. But now that I try to remember, it was very seldom, and always by a sister request. Last week my sister made barbacoa (not really like your bbq, and surprisingly it was good, she sucks at cooking) and then she realized we didn't have tortillas and it was like 9pm so she had to make them.

I don't think I'd ever make tortillas. Well, maybe if I'm living in Finland and there are not tortillerias around, here in Mexico I just wait for the next day and go buy some.

Easy, you wet them and there's no dust in the air.

Not kidding though, you guys probably don't notice it anymore but when you enter a place, any place that is carpeted you can right away smell it and feel you're breathing dust. It's not only places that are not as clean, all of them have a smell, and they try to cover it with perfume. Aren't you guys supposed to be rich? Good, put some real floor on. I'd recommend marble, that's what I've got in my place. It doesn't have to be 6ftx6ft pieces like I have.

Think about it, you make a living out of it! All those guys that at lunch break have a whopper and a litter of coke: they go back to lifting boxes when their brain is asleep after the sugar peak, and they do it wrong. Sooner or later their back hurts, and they need a nice KoolBak belt!! This is a health crisis, caused by your agricultural department shoddy practices! These belts are a need now. They should be covered by every insurance, and medicaid.

niet, is that true about coca cola in mexico? i heard it was a real national health issue. The firm gives free fridges and tons of coca cola goodies to local deli stores. In many region you can't drink tap water and bottled water is more expensive than coke.

Lol. Marble is fucking expensive and carpet helps insulate rooms. I know in Mexico you don't get below freezing much, but having marble or even wood floors in winter sucks.

Also, there're these things called carpet shampooers, they're pretty cheap nowadays.
