Magic is easier...Might is old now and everyone knows how to work it...All you need to do is get into a game of Magic with an experienced player..Make sure the fog is lifted..You can watch what they do and then once you get the hang of it..Play in the fog and kick ass
if i was to explain Magic, you would have a multi-paragraph explanation from me.
The shortened version is:
Each castle has a different strategy. You need to develop a unique plan for each castle, as well as for the activities of neighboring castles. Stay out of the snow as much as you can, always kill people if you have a chance for it.
yer....alot of people now know how to play might well. but magic is a lil different...wca has it right...u need a gameplan for the specific deal you get...which i have...but i aint sharing..i want your points
both maps are very easy. just read the instructions.

well thats not a great idea, cause then you are probably pretty weak after taking all the resources, making you an easy kill. Plus, killing you would mean lots of free resource pairs for little work for the guy that kills you.
(at least, if it was me you were up against. I would jump out and kill anyone as soon as they weaken themselves enough using that strategy, so by all means, go ahead and use it. Just expect to lose some points)
Escalating will make no difference..The time the cards are actually worth anything...You enermy will be deploying 300 troops.
If you leave more then one troop on the frost you'll lose one of them.Providing you keep your armies on a village, resource or a castle you'll not lose any troops.
You cant hold the snow ..Its not real its only graphics
It's all about waiting, imo. Be patient, pile up and grab cards, watch the log and sweep in to steal a kill/castle. If you got that, you got good chances at winning.

you'd be amazed to see how easy it is to find somebody in the fog. i can almost always precisely tell where a person is after 2-3 rounds. except when bad people play. i mean the kind of guys that attack all the wrong places or don't attack at all. but for those i don't need to know where they are cause i'll surely have much more armies than them.

Well duh, you made the map. I'd be surprised if you didn't have amazing-bordering-on-supernatural powers when it came to this map.
My set is a bone coat-of-arms and chandelier! How cool is that?
i agree totally with dim. by using common sense and the game log you can pinpoint where a player is within 3 turns. if they take exactly 3 territories and wind up getting a bonus, they are at Mua or aoria. it just makes sense
hera is right. basicaly if a guy plays by the book and does only the best things his location is easily found. that's why sometimes (depending on opponent) i tend to plant decoys and attack strangely
