Announcement: All Change!

Ahoy Ahoy Foundry Folks,

A wise man once said that "Everything Changes," and for the second time in the past few weeks change is afoot once again in the Foundry...

Starting with the sad news, [player]Gimil[/player] has decided to step out of his Blue Suede Shoes, and will be resigning from the Foundry and TeamCC in general, in order to focus on other things and real-life projects. Gimil has been an amazing Volunteer for Team CC for over 16 months! [insert tribute filled with puppies and love and bananas to Gimil here].

Gimil, your support and guidance in the Foundry will be mist [sic]; we wish you all the best with life outside the Foundry!

With the disappearance of Gimil to pastures anew, MrBenn will release his iron grip of death on the Drafting room to take up the Graphics-Stamping lead. A crack-team of Foundry Assistants (thenobodies80, TaCktiX and our old friend oaktown) have been assigned to the Drafting Room, and will take responsibility for issuing the first of the Foundry stamps on behalf of the Foundry community.

This brings us neatly to the result of the Foundry Stamp Competition... There were a number of terrific entries from mapmakers old and new -- this place oozes creativity! Congratulations to everyone who took part, but especially to [player]fumandomuerte[/player] who devised and created the winning design (which will go live soon):



The new stamps will be handed out by the Foundry Assistants, whose eyes and ears should ensure that each stage of map development is covered. We hope that with a more 'team' approach to stamping, fewer maps will fall through the Foundry's cracks. Areas of responsibility have been assigned as follows:

Drafting Room: thenobodies80, TaCktiX, oaktown
Gameplay: iancanton, Incandenza, DJ Teflon
Graphics: MrBenn, wcaclimbing, the.killing.44, samuelc812
Forge / Beta: Forza AZ, the.killing.44, TaCktiX

These are exciting times to be working in the Foundry!

Personally, I am not surprised much that gimil resigned with the way things are going around here. Nice work trying to keep things running smoothly, gimil. I don't think anyone could have done better.

A great C.A. and a great friend not only within but also outside the Foundry and in the establishment of CC News I appreciate all the hard work you've put in and i'm sure many others do as well. I hope you stick around
