Why...whats the point. If you are busted, you should be banned.

you never know untill it too late. multi's should be banned or be marked with a "L" for losers, or yah! posting a list would be a fine answer/help too.

Trust me, you don't want to see the list  It's too many names for it to be useful for the purposes you have named.

When someone is accused of being a multi they are banned from posting in the forum or joining any new games. If they are a free player, they must upgrade to premium to remain on the site (which makes it much easier to determine whether they continue to create multiple accounts, and it eliminates the reason why a lot of people create multiple accounts: To play more games.)

So as per wick's suggestion- They are banned, but given a second chance to play honestly.

Additionally, when someone is accused of being a multi they can appeal the decision in case a mistake was made. If they turn out to be innocent upon further investigation it would be a shame to have their name marred by being on the list of multis.

Is this a confession?

if multis are found guilty they should have all but one account blocked and the last one should have 500 points taken off them but allowed to keep playing.

lets not forget why this site was made...to show the world there are others that like risk....and to make money, that was a key feature too.

Are you telling me that if someone is willing to lie and pitch in $20, then they have free rein to keep a multi? Isn't that kind of like getting pulled over by a cop and putting a $20 bill under your drivers license as you hand it to him/her so he/she can let you off with a warning?

$20 (and lying) isn't that big of a deal for some folks.

Sorry for any confusion from my first post, but no, that is not exactly how it works.

If someone is found to have multiple accounts they are given a second chance by upgrading to premium for ONE account...all other multiple accounts are then inactivated. The goal is that these people will remain on the site but begin playing honestly. They are still tracked after getting the premium account and can be busted once again just as anyone else is. If a member with a premium account continues to be troublesome, they are stripped of the premium account and inactivated.

The warning and second chance is a good thing I think....However if people continue to cheat and abuse they are punished accordingly.
