So the Dutch really do do winter sports that aren't speed skating. I thought it was just a myth.

Seriously though, she rode very well. It was a good race, even though the only Canadian to get into the quarter finals, lost by 0.01 seconds.

I'm a bit disappointed that the closing ceremonies are tonight. Oh well, only 4 months to go until the World Cup. Now if only Canada could learn how to play soccer...

Myths always have some truth in them we do have 1 or 2 other sporters besides speed skating

Too bad our pilot of the 2 mans bob sucked on that track otherwise they could have had a good chance (and they actually retreated in the 4 mans bob..)
And even in speed skating our best guy chooses the wrong lane...
